Her Majesty’s Royal Academy of the Arts, the foremost magical arts academy of Great Britain, is hosting the triannual Triad Creation Tourney, in which they and two other magical schools--the United States’ Lone Star Academy and Japan’s Teikoku Majutsu-shi no Gakuen--compete to create the ultimate magical artistic creation. This year, however, things are far from going as planned. With rumors of cheating rampant and a would-be evil overlord having snuck into the school, the Travelers will have their work cut out for them getting this Triad Creation Tourney to its end!

The trail would be quite cold and muddled at this time as the theatre is a high traffic area and routinely cleaned.

But alas, and woe, the mimery does not mask the smell of this miscreant! If, mayhaps, one were to catch this saboteur in the act, a scent would be present!

If there are specific questions as to what areas would be investigated, please do tell what would be being smelled for and the extent that Stone's ability allows him to track.

Stone has the ability to filter scents out (so finding a single scent in a crowded room is no problem for him) and has been known to catch a Raksura's scent from a mile away through half a city's worth of people. Kinda OP, I know :P It's basically magical smelling. Scents can be buried when lots of people layer their scents on top of the original one, but the scent on the piano from moving the lid up and down and messing around inside might still strong enough even after a week for him to at least recognize it if he ran into it again?

Either way, when not working, Stone is prowling around hallways near workrooms and in the exhibits room, so if we would LIKE the mime to be found out at all, we can arrange him to be caught! Is there a preference for that, or should we say he never could catch him?

The piano has been handled by quite a few students and staff at this stage, as well as someone from off campus who tightened the pin that had been worked loose. Mixed in with all those scents would be the scent of cotton gloves and something metallic.

Other than a grand performance the last day of the gala, this scofflaw will be laying quite low this week. There will be no matching scents in the workrooms or exhibits, but, if he should so choose to peruse the school offices and the grand hall, the curious scent of cotton gloves and copper wires may be sniffed out.

A confrontation may be arranged! .... but after the ball, as I have put so much effort into this grand affair, and it would be such the shame for it to come to naught.

Let's plan for after the ball then? :D I would love to actually do something plot-related with this. Will that be in the contest mingle, or late in the gala one, so I know how to plan?

Of that, I am not terribly sure! Not during the gala, of course, but after, something can cry 'Havoc!', and let slip the dogs of war~

We shall call it a challenge. A bit of a treasure hunt, starting at the gallery where the very excellent shrine to my skill lay. A test of skill of scent, a battle in riddles and obfuscation to see how much of a danger to my identity you may truly be. As careful as I am in my action, the thrill of a merry chase does so bring me glee~ (as does the writing of these responses in a different character all together to keep the mystery of who truly is at the keys alive for both player and playee~)

Sure! Though I have a few other people interested in getting involved, too. We can start something, and I will drag others in as they get in on the adventure :3

A far more merry of a chase when a group is involved! If you would be so kind as to set up Stone sniffing about the paintings somewhere, I shall deliver myself to produce narrative for this grand adventure~

It occurs that a separate log may be slightly better of a setting for this game. For sake of timing, I would prefer that the end of the game not be known until after the balls have all be held. Would you prefer to start the log, or shall I set the scene for you and your guests?

Aah, one small correction, if I may~ There is the start of our treasure hunt at the painting of the "haunted" piano, which I do believe is in the perpetual art exhibit rooms.

It was the piano itself that Stone got the scent from, though, not the painting. He will only be going back to the paintings if he catches the scent there, and you said there wouldn't be the scent in the exhibit rooms?

There weren't until the game was set up! Apologies for not making that addition clearer.

One more question, how much of a mystery do you wish this to remain to you, dear player? There are some delicate timings of layered plans that I do so wish to uphold that would be far more at home in a private plurk, however, if you wish the mystery to be upheld to your person as well as your character, I will respect that decision.
