Hypatia recruits and prepares for her expedition to the High Tables. Truffle senses some strange things and helps to find the missing people in the ruins. Hana tries to lay low after last week's murder. After fighting the warehouse fire, Ghalib decides to try and bring back cavosophia. After an intervention from his concerned family he tries again, which ends with Gil de-infiltrated and almost immediately eaten alive by Nation-Eaters in the caves. Later in the week he returns and ends up confronted by Ghalib's family.

Koray fights the warehouse fire and defends the innocent. He also goes to look for people in the ruins. Altaïr reports on Scatter-Spore and records memories of the dead. Samel meets Chara's new beau, and then tries to redirect Ghalib's followers in the wake of his death. Eren's exploration of the ruins ends in death by Nation-Eater. Later in the week, Eren the Traveler returns. Mori gets rid of her chair in the wake of revelations about Ghalib. Almas attempts to kythe the injured raider and does some exploration in the Shadow District. Tahsin does his best to help out in every possible avenue, to the consternation of some. Chara is preoccupied with learning and spreading information about writing, and then finds out about Ghalib's death. Anaf's plans are interrupted by the awakening of his own Portori Shade.

Casper uses his powers for good with the injured and the dead. Sento tries to take advantage of the presence of the cult to give away food. After being attacked by Ghalib, Matthew retreats to Liminal Space. Riddick fights the fire, stalks a Nation-Eater, and does some experimentation in Liminal Space. Cassandra psychically heals a cultist and creates some supplies for Fallenheart. Pinya tries to spread hope through music and prepares for battle.

Raidou and two teams consisting of Bismuth, Matthew and Casper and Chara, Alcuin, Ios and Alena explore the towers in the Shadow District.

On the network: Casper looks for help healing the injured raider, and reports on the memories of the dead in the Shadow District. Cassandra tells the Travelers about healing the cultist. Chloe reports Ghalib's reaving of Hana, and the next day a de-infiltrated Gil reports his attack on Matthew. Immediately thereafter he issues a warning about Nation-Eaters in the caves. Upon his return, Eren describes his overlay's encounter with Nation-Eaters in the ruins.

Early morning on the last day of the week there is a full-scale Nation-Eater attack on Fallenheart. In response, Magician, Hermit, Devil and Death hit the pause button on the jaunt, removing Travelers and the entire population of Fallenheart to Liminal Space. They're barely hanging on, and need to conduct a dance ritual to get the energy to put everyone back.

Shinji advises people not to eat too quickly after weathering starvation conditions. Claudia works on compiling what everyone knows about Nation-Eaters, and canvasses for who might want a Tesla. Naoya spills the beans on Qabil, his plans and plots, and his mysterious passenger. Madoka is looking for help with her playlist. Armin starts a compilation of who wants to be de-infiltrated upon return to the jaunt. Allura offers her mech to anyone who could use it to fight the Nation-Eaters. Matthew has some data to analyze and organizes a Sifting party.

Finally, the dance is held, charging each participating Arcanum and advancing a plot among a small group of Travelers to resurrect Star.

After the ball, Deedee passes along some information she's picked up about the Arcana, Naoki wonders about the nature of anchors, and ROSE contacts the Travelers to offer them a choice about how to return to the jaunt. Delaunay suggests using one of the newer skills to create their own Katador infiltrator persona and Deedee accepts.

Next Week: The Arcana will return the expedition crew to Fallen Wrath, 14 minutes before they were lifted out of Fallenheart, With the secret of the Portoris’ return well and truly out, the locals will start helping everyone get things figured out re: recovering lost arts like Writing and avoiding future run-ins with Nation-Eaters. Preparations for the expedition to the High Tables continue.

Speaking of Nation-Eaters, Travelers willing to do battle with the pack of small ones and the big boss itself will have their opportunity to throw down, outside of Fallenheart proper. Comment here to establish a turn order for the big boss only, so that the fight threading doesn’t jank up thread flow; the boss will react every five replies, unless player action dictates a reaction sooner (in which case the OOC thread will be replied to first). The pack of small Nation-Eaters may be NPC’d by anyone, with general guidelines given on the upcoming post.
