Ouroboros Retrograde week 3 plotting
SUMMARY:
Scarstin tries to mobilise people to pursue the idea that spawned the Glatisant. Kentrolite Totally Doesn’t Care, See Him Not Caring. Acionario chases glory, while Nellarin seeks information. Sayf gets startled into Harbingering. Asa helps as best she can. Allura pursues the Glatisant threatening her home time, and makes a plan with Minako. Yuuki offers his own Oracular expertise.
Lyall and some friends sniff out the Glatisant in the past. Kohaku looks for a way to be useful without her symbiote. Ace gets in over his head. Jules remains obnoxious. Thae finds some potential help in untangling his mangled genetics.
Some Travelers get to the bottom of the Glatisant’s source, and beyond. Naoya does something incredibly stupid. Naoki uncovers what grew the Glatisant. Pidge wonders if de-infiltration could be creatively applied to get more information about the waking worlds. Sara has an idea for dealing with a Glatisant, with a side of Arcana speculation. Matthew tries to figure out whether letting Lupa into Liminal Space would be a terrible plan or not.
PLOTTING:
The Champions & Assorted Travelers have caught up with the Glatisant in both past and future; and are facing it down: it takes the form of an eight-headed snake in the future, and of a many-eyed and many-limbed smooth-skinned angler-scorpion in the past. Its defeat in combat will raise questions about the idea that formed it, and Dreamers will no doubt try to investigate those questions.
In the wake of the combat, several Dreamers and Travelers have expeditions planned to distant dreams, or outside of dream altogether - plot those expeditions in the comments below!
At the same time, Travelers and Dreamers explore the subspace below regular dreaming that the Glatisant originated from - and as they do, Spirit Companions from all eras become panicked, but lose the ability to communicate clearly, only able to deliver garbled, cryptic warnings (Champions & Oracles, request a garbled warning under the toplevel here). The specifics of the warning are difficult to untangle, but may strain trust between unfamiliar times and roles.
By the end of the week, the communications difficulty will be resolved (we think) through player action. Clever plans to restore communication ability can be linked under the toplevel here.

Altair
Can it be Interfaced? He's got Siren Song of Calming to try on it, but alas he is only one Singer and probably wouldn't be able to fully calm it. He can also use Oracle of Sight powers or even Indigo Color magic to see weak points (for massive damage) but again, he'd have to be convinced fighting is the answer. If all that's a bust, there's always his Familiar's cryptic warning to unravel, and subspace stuff.
